All are welcome to join us this Sunday for a short service of evening worship followed by refreshments, and then “Music for a Summer Evening” performed by Liz Paling. Please invite friends to come along for what promises to be a very enjoyable evening.

At our Morning Communion service this week at 10am, we will be thinking about the Parable of the Sower. There will be a group for children during the service and everyone is welcome!

The next Monday Morning Men’s Meeting is open to all ladies and gentlemen. Come and hear topical questions put to a panel of political, religious, and general experts, at St. Mary’s on the 10th July, starting with coffee at 10:30am.

Come and join us around the firepit in the woodland of St Mary’s for a song, a short bible reading, and activities that make the most of our woodland setting. As usual there will be lots of marshmallows and
hot chocolate! (Mossy Church is now on the 2nd Saturday of the month only). We hope to see you there!

The next meeting of St Mary’s Ladies Group will take place on Tuesday, 4th July. We will have our summer visit to Bawdon Lodge Farm Coffee Shop, Nanpantan, meeting at our usual time of 10:30am. Hope to see you there. We will continue making donations to the Food Bank, which are always gratefully received.

Sunday 2nd July - Morning Worship will be at 10am and Evensong will take place at 6pm. This week we will be sharing in Morning Worship in place of the usual Communion service at 10am. There will be a theme of ‘Welcome’ and there will also be a children’s activity sheet provided. Evensong will be at 6pm, with the
same readings: Romans 6:12-23 and Matthew 10:40-42.

This group warmly invites anyone who would welcome some company whether they live alone or not. It is a lovely opportunity to meet together to share lunch and chat. Following a successful meal in April, the Sunday Supper Social is reconvening on Sunday 25th June at 7pm at the Priory after the Sunday evening service. All members of the evening congregation are welcome to join us. Please join us for Morning Worship at 10am and/or Evening Communion at 6pm. This week we consider some challenging words from Jesus about the cost of discipleship. There is a children’s group running during the morning service, and the evening service will include communion. At both services there will be an update about CMS and the Ray family who we support.
