Join us for a short service followed by refreshments and a half hour concert of music for 2 pianos performed by Jeremy and Liz. They have put together a varied programme which will make for a great evening. In order to facilitate ventilation, numbers are restricted to 50 so please book your place and think of friends outside of church you could invite and book in too.

We are delighted to tell you that St Mary's has been awarded an Eco-Church Bronze Award! Many thanks to Helena and the team who submitted our application and are continuing to keep care of creation and climate justice at the forefront of our thinking. This is just a start and there is lots more we can do to protect God’s creation.

Children and families are very welcome, and there will be an optional activity for them during the service. The “Bring Your Own” picnic will be held afterwards either in the Woodland (weather permitting) or spread around the building. You might like to bring a folding garden chair for outside if you have one. Tea and coffee will be provided. Just to remind you that, out of consideration for others, we are continuing to wear face masks and encouraging people to take a lateral flow test before attending.

Come and join us at St Marys for some Family Fun Days! On the 20th, 21st and 22nd of August we will be thinking about different heroes from the bible and exploring their stories through games, activities and crafts in the woods. The morning session is repeated in the afternoon.

• Successful Medical Safaris that are now building up again following Covid restrictions, and the new ultrasound machine that is such an integral part of them.
• The rebuilding of schools, that has become a recognised part of HoverAid’s work.
• The hovercraft fleet; the old vehicles that are prone to breaking down and the efforts to replace them with an updated design that Andy Mayo has produced and for which manufacturing capability and funding is now being sought.
• The cooperation between the different international arms of HoverAid and their good governance.
• The health and safety of staff and volunteers in the UK, The Netherlands, France, and Madagascar as the fight against Covid continues.
• The ongoing severe drought in southern Madagascar.
