20 Aug 2023
Please join us for All Together Communion with Bishop Saju at 10am. The Bishop of Loughborough will be leading and preaching at our service this Sunday morning - please come along to welcome the bishop and share in worship together. It's not often we get a bishop at St Mary's, so please come if you are able and invite friends to come too! He will also be staying after the service to meet people informally over a Bring & Share lunch at 12pm. Come and join us at either the service or the lunch, or both! Evening Worship will take place at 6pm. We are hoping to be able to record the morning sermon to share at the 6pm service also.

St Mary's Notices - 13th August 2023
13 Aug 2023
Please join us for our services this Sunday. All Together Worship will take place at 10am and Evening Communion will be at 6pm. Readings: 1Kings 19:9-18, Matt 14:22-33 We continue in Matthew’s gospel journeying with the disciples as Jesus reveals his power in miracles, this week walking on water. Peter takes an amazing step of faith and we consider how Jesus calls us to respond to the storms of life.

12 Aug 2023
Come and join us around the firepit in the woodland of St Mary’s for a song, a short bible reading, and activities that make the most of our woodland setting. As usual there will be lots of marshmallows and
hot chocolate! (Mossy Church is now on the 2nd Saturday of the month only).
St Mary's Notices - 6th August 2023
6 Aug 2023
Please join us for All Together Communion at 10am and Evensong at 6pm. The August readings lend themselves to thinking about how God’s radical love for us leads us to live life differently as children of his kingdom. This week we’ll be thinking about ‘Abundant Hospitality’ as demonstrated by Jesus when he
fed 5000 hungry people.
Growing Rite
27 Jul 2023
Growing Rite meets on Thursday mornings (even in the school holidays). New members of our busy group often ask, ‘Who can come?’ Our answer? ‘All are welcome!’ We welcome mums, grandparents, carers and children of all nationalities, backgrounds, and beliefs. We are also extremely happy to have a small group of Ronald West residents who bless us with their presence. Songs, stories, craft activities, hot and cold drinks, biscuits (and cakes to celebrate birthdays once a month!) ensure everyone is kept busy and happy. If you would like to join us, please contact admin@stmaryincharnwood.org.uk
