It was great to see more people in the building last Sunday and we are taking small steps to make all feel safe and confident to return. Feedback is welcome!

An update with pointers to pray for -
Pray that the new President is determined to combat COVID 19, that Bishop Stanley (DMK) has major and fruitful outreach to villages and Bishop Isaiah (DK) has ordained women for the first time in DMK.
Give thanks for Leicester parishes funding a motor bike for a pastor to reach the villages, that village schools being built to replace teaching under trees and wells being drilled and funds from donations sent for library roof repairs and breadmaking equipment in DK.
We give thanks that the discipleship of newly baptised includes group teaching on learning to save and Munguishi Bible College (Principal Joseph Bea) is supported by St. Mary’s training pastors and evangelists.
Finally grateful thanks that the indomitable Sister Sarah is back at work after COVID 19 to train a young doctor and a nurse at the Eye Clinic and develop it.

We are entering a period of 'All Change,' so as services start to return to some more 'normal' arrangements and this will be the last weekly letter from Adele and we will revert to a weekly notice sheet.

We thank God for all his blessings to us. Money is always a difficult subject to discuss but the last 15 months have seen St Marys income fall dramatically with prices continuing to rise. The letter covers the next 2 weeks notices due to annual leave so is longer than normal with lots to tell you about what is happening at St Mary's.

This week we begin a sermon series that will take us through the summer, giving an overview of the Big Story of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.

Please support in prayer all families affected by bereavement, the counsellors and for ongoing funding.

Are you interested in protecting the environment? You need no specific knowledge about environmental issues but all over 10 years old are welcome to join us - Zoom meetings at first . This group will initially focus on applying for eco church status and will probably then be investigating ways that both the church and individual members can lower their carbon footprint, and then decide upon the best way forward.

A time for reflection to count our blessings - God loves us so much that He sent His son to die for us to come back to Him.
