The Bridge (East Midlands) is a charity that has been working for the community since 1993, delivering a number of specialist housing related advice, support, and assistance services plus accommodation options to homeless and vulnerably housed people across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland.
Their vision is to create resilient, compassionate communities where individuals thrive in safe and secure homes and develop sustainable housing solutions through partnership, empowerment, and good practice.
• Give thanks for the community and clients served over the last thirty years by The Bridge.
• Pray for the work of the Charnwood Food Poverty Group and the many groups supporting it.
• Pray for the appointment of a new Community Engagement Lead in the near future.
• Pray that those who are referred to or approach the charity for help may be found a lasting home or enabled to remain in the one they have.

At 3pm - to conclude Christmas in the Woods, a short service for all ages around the firepit in the woods.

10am-3pm each day. Following the success of last year, we will again be hosting this 'drop in' event for people to explore the Christmas story at interactive stations around the wood.

At 10am - a retelling of the Christmas Story with music and carols. You are invited to come dressed as your favourite Nativity character for this interactive service followed by refreshments. Please wear a face mask.

From 4pm-6pm. As it didn't feel safe to host large numbers in the building, we thought we would take our Carol Service out on the streets! A map showing the route can be accessed below and rough timings for each stop along the way, ending at the church with refreshments. If you can't manage the full route, please join us when you can and invite friends and neighbours to come along.

Please join us at 10am on the 12th December for this interactive service hosted at the beautiful Nanpantan Hall. Bring your own orange, which we will be making into a Christingle during the service. Please remember that you must wear a face mask and encouraging people to take a lateral flow test before attending.
