Evening Communion at 6pm
As we gather in the evening to share in communion, we will be acknowledging the mixed emotions people may experience on Mothering Sunday – thankfulness and joy for the gift of mothering as well as the sadness and pain of bereavement, broken relationships or relationships that never could be.
We will be continuing our journey through John’s Gospel, thinking this week about Jesus the Good Shepherd. The readings are Ezekiel 34:11-16 and John 10:1-21.

Morning Communion at 10am
Our journey through John’s gospel continues with chapter 9, the story of Jesus giving sight to the man born blind. We’ll be thinking about the challenges Jesus presents and what it means to see clearly. The Old Testament reading is Isaiah 42:1-11, we’ll be sharing in communion and there will be a children’s group. Please come and join us as we worship and learn together.

Evening Worship with prayers for healing at 6pm
We’ll be thinking about the same readings in the evening service as the morning through the lens of healing – physical, spiritual, social and emotional. There will be the opportunity to receive prayers for healing with the laying on of hands and anointing. This is an ancient tradition of the church expressing the centrality of healing, reconciliation and restoration as part of the good news of Christ and the outworking of the Holy Spirit.
