St Mary's Notices - Sunday 5th October 2025

Painted Greek Island

Harvest in the Barn, Home Farm Nanpantan, at 10am
Please invite friends and family to our annual Harvest Festival service at Home Farm, for worship in the barn with activities for all ages, followed by an optional trail through the walled garden at Nanpantan Hall and up to St Mary's where there will be tea & cake for everyone! Parking is available at Home Farm. Please bring your own chair and a battery-operated camping light if you have one and be sure to wrap up warm. Many thanks to Marie for welcoming us to Home Farm and preparing a barn for us to use.
There will be the opportunity at both services on Sunday 5th to present donations of non-perishable food which will be given to Project 5000. Their stocks are low and they would be grateful for donations of long-life milk, cereal, pasta, rice, tinned meat and fish, soup and pot noodles. A collection will also be taken for the Tearfund Harvest Appeal, or you can donate using this link: https://www.tearfund.org/campaigns/harvest-appeal

Harvest Communion at 6pm
Join us at the church in the evening for a harvest themed communion service, where we will be continuing our sermon series leading us through the Old Testament with the story of Ruth. Donations to Project 5000 and Tearfund would be welcomed as detailed above.
