In these hard times let us truly believe that God knows and understands the difficulties of life and walks with us giving us "strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow" ( Great is thy Faithfulness)
Adele's letter 24th January - Third Sunday of Epiphany
The period of Epiphany celebrates how God reveals his glory through Jesus and we are encouraged to watch for small ‘glimpses of glory’ in our lives despite bleak times - the vaccine is being rolled out and there are many signs of love and care in our community.
Adele's letter 17th January - Second Sunday of Epiphany
Let us all know God is always with us, especially as these difficult times continue and we are physically separated from family and friends. Let us try to keep each other going with support at a distance using the internet, phone or other means such as letter writing. 'We are pilgrims on a journey, fellow travellers on the road; we are here to help each other walk the mile and bear the load.’
Nativity in the Woods - every day including Christmas Eve 10:00-14:00

Adele's letter 27th December - 1st Sunday of Christmas
As we come to grips with ever changing plans to be with loved ones in some way let us hold onto the central message of Christmas that Christ is born and God is with us. ‘Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.’ Luke 2:14
Another chance to follow our Lessons and Carols service on YouTube and listen to Adele's reflections on Mary and Joseph's experience in the stable and the questions that challenge us today. Which reading means most to you and which carol inspires you?
Adele's letter 20th December - Fourth Sunday of Advent
In all the busy preparations for our different kind of Christmas please take a moment to pause and find stillness with God. We are encouraged to place ourselves, thoughts and concerns in his hands. ‘Be still and know that I am God.’ Psalm 46:10
