Worship with a Classical Flavour Sunday 19th September 6pm
Join us for a short service followed by refreshments and a half hour concert of music for 2 pianos performed by Jeremy and Liz. They have put together a varied programme which will make for a great evening. In order to facilitate ventilation, numbers are restricted to 50 so please book your place and think of friends outside of church you could invite and book in too.
Eco-Church Bronze Award Achieved!!
We are delighted to tell you that St Mary's has been awarded an Eco-Church Bronze Award! Many thanks to Helena and the team who submitted our application and are continuing to keep care of creation and climate justice at the forefront of our thinking. This is just a start and there is lots more we can do to protect God’s creation.
Sunday 29th August Service – All Age Worship & Picnic at 11am
Children and families are very welcome, and there will be an optional activity for them during the service. The “Bring Your Own” picnic will be held afterwards either in the Woodland (weather permitting) or spread around the building. You might like to bring a folding garden chair for outside if you have one. Tea and coffee will be provided. Just to remind you that, out of consideration for others, we are continuing to wear face masks and encouraging people to take a lateral flow test before attending.
Please continue to donate non perishable food for this essential service - items can now be left inside church again. Thank you to all those who have contributed to the 365 bags donated so far!
Family Fun Days
Come and join us at St Marys for some Family Fun Days! On the 20th, 21st and 22nd of August we will be thinking about different heroes from the bible and exploring their stories through games, activities and crafts in the woods. The morning session is repeated in the afternoon.

Advocate Slot - HoverAid
Please give thanks and pray for:
• Successful Medical Safaris that are now building up again following Covid restrictions, and the new ultrasound machine that is such an integral part of them.
• The rebuilding of schools, that has become a recognised part of HoverAid’s work.
• The hovercraft fleet; the old vehicles that are prone to breaking down and the efforts to replace them with an updated design that Andy Mayo has produced and for which manufacturing capability and funding is now being sought.
• The cooperation between the different international arms of HoverAid and their good governance.
• The health and safety of staff and volunteers in the UK, The Netherlands, France, and Madagascar as the fight against Covid continues.
• The ongoing severe drought in southern Madagascar.

Adele's letter - 1st August Big Story 4
We are entering a period of 'All Change,' so as services start to return to some more 'normal' arrangements and this will be the last weekly letter from Adele and we will revert to a weekly notice sheet.
Adele's letter - 18th and 25th July and Big Story 2 and 3
The letter covers the next 2 weeks notices due to annual leave so is longer than normal with lots to tell you about what is happening at St Mary's.
We thank God for all his blessings to us. Money is always a difficult subject to discuss but the last 15 months have seen St Marys income fall dramatically with prices continuing to rise. Please consider making a one-off donation using a debit or credit card, using the link on this website: Choose “Contact us” from the menu at the top and then “Make a donation” and if you pay tax, please Gift Aid by filling in the short form on the same drop down menu. This can be either a one off or regular gift. Or if you already support us financially, please consider an increase to your regular giving.
Cash or cheques can be accepted too by contacting email@example.com
Thank you for all you do whether financial, practical, or spiritual.
