THE ART OF REMEMBRANCE
Exhibition dates: Thursday 31 October to Saturday 2 November – Open daily 10am – 4pm
Artist Jacqui Gallon brings together work made by members of the community in workshops which have taken place at St Mary’s Church. The project invites dialogue about grief and remembering loved ones through the creative arts.

Open daily 10am – 4pm. Café serving tea, coffee and home-made cakes with proceeds to the Church.

Opening event with music and refreshments

‘Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again’.
A concert of popular music with singer Rev Adele and band ‘Parking Space.
Saturday 2 November 2-4pm
‘Let’s talk about dying …’
A talk followed by conversation with Rev Helen Newman, Chaplain at Launde Abbey and formerly at LOROS, exploring what makes for a good death.
Sunday 3 November 9.30am and 11am
with Rev David Monteith, Dean of Leicester Cathedral.
3pm Bereavement Service
with opportunity to remember loved ones who have died.
6pm ‘Music to Remember’
A reflective evening service with local musicians.
